The snowmelt system under the sidewalk in front of the Emergency entrance should be activated by the end of the week--a little late for last week's snowstorm but hopefully in time for the next one.Back to the inside of the Emergency Room. Interior painting starts today in the lobby area--you can see ladders stacked up in preparation. Patients and visitors have probably noticed there are no exterior doors at the ER entrance. They were supposed to arrive last week and are expected any time now. Both sets of doors are slated for replacement, and will be done at the same time when they arrive.
